The Settlement System shall be integrated in the ATLAS ETRM. The Settlement System, among others, includes the following functionalities:
- Thermal Unit RTBEM Settlement
- Thermal Unit Reserve Settlement
- Thermal Unit Imbalance Settlement
- Thermal Unit Non-Compliance Charges Settlement
- Non Dispatchable Loads Imbalance Settlement
- Non Dispatchable Loads Non-Compliance Charges Settlement
- Renewable Energy Imbalance Settlement
- Renewable Energy Non-Compliance Charges Settlement
- Trading Account Imbalance Settlement
- Trading Account Non-Compliance Charges Settlement
All computations are performed based on the provisions of the Balancing Market Regulation, and especially the Articles that concern the settlement computations and processes. However, the Settlement System is flexible to adapt to any other settlement computation and processes (e.g. of Cyprus).
The Settlement System has a web interface, a SQL Server database, and an API for connecting to the internal systems of the client. Additionally, there is an infrastructure to collect publicly available data from the Hellenic Energy Exchange and the Transmission System Operator.
Two types of users have been defined, power users with full capability of performing calculations and export results in excel spreadsheets, and viewers with limited capacity to see the settlement results. The users log in the Settlement System using Active Directory.
